Megafen is an effective pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and fever reducer containing a dual combination of Ibuprofen (200 mg) and Paracetamol (325 mg). This dual formula makes it more effective than either ingredient alone. Available in a pack of 30 tablets manufactured by Rameda.
Megafen combines Ibuprofen's anti-inflammatory and analgesic power with Paracetamol's fever-reducing and central analgesic effect. This combination provides stronger and faster pain relief for: headaches including migraines, dental and gum pain, menstrual cramps, muscle and joint pain, cold and flu fever, and post-surgical and injury pain.
Take orally with water. Preferably after meals to reduce stomach upset. Do not use for more than 10 consecutive days without medical advice.
Adults: one tablet 3 times daily. Children 6-12 years: half tablet 3 times daily. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose. Consult your doctor for the appropriate dose.
Megafen starts working within 20 to 30 minutes, reaching peak effectiveness within 1-2 hours. It does not cause drowsiness, making it suitable for daytime use.
Rare at recommended doses. May include stomach upset, nausea, headache, dizziness, or skin rash. Prolonged excessive use may affect the stomach and kidneys. Stop and consult your doctor if severe symptoms appear.
Use with caution in asthma patients. Prolonged use may increase stomach ulcer risk. Inform your doctor about heart, kidney, or liver conditions. Not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Not for those allergic to Ibuprofen or Paracetamol. Not suitable for active stomach ulcers. Use with caution in asthma patients sensitive to painkillers. Prohibited in severe liver or kidney failure. Not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Consult your doctor before taking with: Aspirin, blood thinners, other painkillers, blood pressure medications, diuretics, and corticosteroids.
